What to do?

There are many things to do when you are staying in the Pine Crest Resort.

Snowmobile trails run by the cabins so you can snowmobile from your door for some exciting riding. Go cross country skiing on the trails on our property or try out some snowshoes and tramp through the forest. Don’t have equipment? Rental gear is available in the area.

We are located on the snowmobile trails which connect you with the 2,500 miles of trails in the Upper Peninsula. Snowmobile from your cabin door. Snowmobiles can be rented at Marquette Power Sports in Marquette.

Although we are only 35 miles from Marquette, we are totally secluded, wildlife abounds. The private bridge at our entrance is called a “woods bridge” but it is strongly braced with cement cribs and 24 inch wide steel I-beams across a 60 foot span. Please drive slowly.

In summer, enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking, boating, sigh-seeing or just relaxing. Sit down by the dock and read a favorite book or just enjoy the beauty of the woods and the waters. Take a moonlit walk, listen to the breeze whisper through our giant pines, have a cook-out or a great meal in Ishpeming.

For the fisherman in the summer and winter, take your pick of either the Michigamme River or Juncob Lake. Walk to either one from your cabin. The lake is filled with Northern Pike, Large Mouth Bass, Crappie and Bluegills. The river has these fish plus Rock Bass and Walleye. Guided fishing on inland lakes and streams with Uncle Ducky. Call toll free at 1.877.228.5447 or Pine Crest Resort to set up your guided fishing trip.

Boat launch available. Canoes, boats, and paddleboat come with the cabins.

Winter brings “great snows” to our area. Jump on your cross-country skis, snowmobile or snowshoes and take off into the woods. Our private cross-country ski trails run through the beautiful pine and aspen forest.
